The old studio days of autographing pictures for fans have gone. Celebrities have been furnishing the hours and footing the expenses of photos and postage for years to try to keep up the tradition, but it is impossible as the costs keep mounting. Now folks are requesting signatures on large numbers of pictures "for friends", which are then being sold to collectors.

Nostalgia has become big business and will continue to be as we "old timers" get (let’s face it!) older!

The time has come for me to charge for this old tradition. Actually, it is way past time.
