Hi Dear Friends:

First let me apologize for the slowness in getting back to you with orders and such. I do my best with some help. I still tire easily and am kept pretty busy with water therapy, and walks and such as well as all the everyday demands upon one. So please forgive me if I am not up to speed right now, okay?

I think I will be going down to the desert for a few days. I have another PET scan this week and then I should be free to get down there and see a few friends. Maggie, who is working for Disney, will secure a car for me to drive me down. When I get home, I will try to organize much of what has gone to pot! My office is a shambles, and really was before the surgery and all the chemos that have passed under the bridge since.

Aren’t the politics fascinating that are going on now? Fascinating television! Much more exciting than a film. It really is going to be quite a race, and, gosh, November is almost here! Where has this year disappeared to?

I’m sorry for the folks who got hit in Alabama with the tornado, but so thankful that my little family was safe. Every part of the country has certain threats doesn’t it? I don’t remember if I wrote that Jane and Rob and Brian now live in Prattville, Alabama, where the Air Force has recently moved them.

I wish us all safety, and a wonderful Fall that is soon to be heading our way!
