Dear Friends:
Well, I have no Idea where it came from, but the old Flu bug snapped me up, and they had to cancel my chemo for that week. It would have been the half way mark which meant a lot to me! I am seeing my GP to see if he thinks I will be okay for next week. Those of you who have gone through all this will understand. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I did all those chemos earlier, and then the surgery, so this will be the final set of chemos. Thank Heaven! At least my nose isn’t bleeding, (a charming side effect.) at this time.
A couple of days later. Nose bleed again! Saw the nose doctor after the Lab work for tomorrow’s chemo. So, it looks like I will be at the halfway mark after tomorrow. Yippee!
Hopefully all this will be over the end of April and I will be on the mend from the side effects. ‘Sure is an interesting experience to say the least!
We have had a lot of rain and boy, did the sun look good to me today. Oh yes it does rain in Sunny California!
Maggie called yesterday, and is happy with her work at Disney and I was so glad to hear her cheerful voice! Jane and Rob are busy with all the military responsibilities he has in Minot Air Force Base. I do miss seeing them both, but their lives are good, so I am thankful for that. Very thankful.
Well, dear ones, I cannot possibly tell you how much your letters of love and encouragement have meant to me. You are a true blessing. Thank you.
Only a few more weeks to go, and I will have a clean slate. Then the full healing will take place.
God Bless,
