Dear Friends:
I have decided that this is the year for all good things to happen! Not just for me, but for every one! There has been a set back as far as my chemo is concerned, and I am not thrilled with that. My nose got in the act and started bleeding and now we have to wait three weeks for it to heal. I don’t believe I am a fatalist, but I do believe that there is some good reason for all of this, even though I want to get through all this stuff as you can well imagine. If you or a loved one has gone through this process you will understand what I mean. So, cheery thoughts, and I am so appreciative of your wonderful cards and sentiments. Some of them have brought tears to my eyes. You really have packed a wonderful helping of food for my faith. I will always be grateful to you.
I just finished reading my friend Dawny’s novel,
“Perilous Exile”….Wow, what a story. If it doesn’t become a film,
I don’t understand today’s agents. She is having a signing here
in Santa Barbara at the Tecalote bookstore on the nineteenth of
this month. If you are interested in checking her web site, it is
Dawnysweb.com (No apostrophe.)
There you will find a way to get a copy of her book if you are so
inclined, and see for yourself if you don’t think it would make
a fast action and intriguing film! It takes place on a number of
cruise ships in Baja California, and many little villages. Plenty
of suspense and good old fashioned mean guys!
So, the beat goes on with this cancer gig. Scared and feeling rotten and lonely one moment, and then the energy rises once more to accomplish the right results and I have a bit of fun! Eating all the right stuff and doing all I can to make this the year for a full healing.
God bless us all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EACH AND EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET.
Let there be hope for all.
